      While working part-time for The Co-Operative, I was able to develop a number of skills, from time management to team working. I was responsible for re-stocking the shop floor, assisting customers around the shop, maintaining the stock room and serving customers at the tills. I was also responsible for facing up the shop before closing, which required a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor my time to ensure all my tasks were completed before closing.

      While working at Cath Kidston I undertook a number of different roles and responsibilities. As I was working over the festive period, it was crucial to remain focused and on the ball to ensure that stock levels were maintained and attending to all customers. It required me to work effectively as part of a team, while managing my time effectively to ensure that all of the days tasks were completed - from setting up shop and maintaining stock levels to clearing up and closing the concession stand at the end of each shift.       By taking on an internship with Blue Sword I have been able to get a real insight into the world of business while developing key business and marketing skills. I have been able to enhance my university experience and knowledge by implementing all that I am taught in a real life situation. I am responsible for creating and implementing a number of social media plans for both the company as well as a number of clients. Additionally, I create SEO content including blog posts for a range of clients, helping to improve their search engine ranking.       I have been instrumental in the successful development of ongoing rugby sponsorship plans for The Famous Grouse, including the launch of an elevated brand partnership with the SRU through strong relationship management and maximizing the impact of the partnership portfolio by leveraging our partner rights. Key achievements include:- Increased brand awareness and brand power scores with rugby fans through brand sponsorship visibility, reaching 2M+ fans through broadcast and social media via optimised centre pitch paint, LEDs, and perimeter boards. - Supporting brand awareness and engagement with a further 180K+ fans reached in stadium, delivering 2000+ serves though premium in-stadium activation plans. This was possible with close agency and partner management through the briefing process, planning, and execution stages, supported with regular, open communication with key partners to improve fans’ match day experience in stadium, delivering a mutually beneficial and collaborative activations. - Social media and at home sampling further support brand engagement and awareness, all executed in close collaboration with key agency partners and the wider brand team. Key roles in this included agency briefing and ongoing management, consumer communications, and post-tournament measurement and evaluation, providing key insights to inform future planning. - Collaboration with senior team members and analysis of brand data and performance to drive decision making, building a stronger, elevated sponsorship portfolio with Scottish Rugby and Glasgow Warriors. This partnership portfolio reinforces the brand’s long-term commitment to the sport as part of the brand’s premiumisation and next-generation recruitment journey.- Strong working relationship with both agency and rugby partners delivered with clear, concise, and honest communication to boost output. - Strong understanding of alcohol restrictions and guidelines within marketing and sport sponsorship. Show less As part of the Thomas Lowndes business unit, I played a key role in the new product development of a ready to drink cocktail brand, resulting in the launch of 1826. My role included:- Leading an influencer gifting campaign to maximise the brand budget and reach utilising a select group of influencers with an audience of 750K+ followers.- The creation of the brand name and story, inspired by the heritage of Thomas Lowndes.Supporting the team in packaging design decisions, product development and flavour trials.- Product launch support including the creation of buyers boxes and sales decks.- During my time in the team my key responsibilities in supporting the food licencing element of the business unit included: content ideation & creation; social media content development and reporting; photoshop for image editing and visual content creation; market research and data collation; reporting on brand performance; the creation of sales decks; supporting the development of customer marketing plans; and presenting to various stakeholders.
