      Rotaract is the Rotary International’s Community Service program for young adults aged between 18-30 years. Bangladesh has two districts, District 3281 and 3281 with over 5000 Rotarians in 350 Clubs and large number of Rotaract clubs (219 clubs in District-3281 and 125 clubs in District 3282) and Interact Clubs contributing significantly to the Rotary movement in this region which all has been rooted in the 79 years of history and tradition of the Club, makes it MOTHER of Rotary Clubs in Bangladesh. Over 2500 Rotaractors s and Interactors are engaged with action part of Rotary Clubs in Bangladesh. In 1993, Rotaract Club of Chittagong Midtown was formed under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown,RID-3280(Now 3282) Bangladesh. In 2009, I have joined with Midtown family with other 60 members. After completing different consecutive terms as Sgt. at Arms, Club Service Directors, Editors, Joint Secretary, Secretary and Vice President, I became elected president to lead my club for the Rota-year 2012-2013. I’ve participated and worked in PETS, SETS, RYLA, District Assembly, District Installation, District Conference, District Training and many such training programmers. I coordinated few of these programs where more than 500 Rotaractors, Rotarians, guest were present in an individual programs. Our sponsoring rotary club has two permanent projects one is Fakira Colony Rotary School, Kadamtoli, Chittagong and other one is Jonaki School, Patiya, Chittagong. Both are full free child school for underprivileged children at slum area in Chittagong.
