I am an experienced Duty Manager who has been working in the Sport and Leisure industry for the past 18 years, I am used to dealing with a fast-paced adaptable environment. During my time in Leisure, I have been dedicated to continually developing myself in the face of this rapid evolving and changing industry. I am our sites Health and Safety coordinator and I make sure the PPMP is kept up to date by leasing with contractors, producing COSSH sheets for each chemical at site, conduct site specific Risk assessments, annual asbestos reports, NOP, EAP and SPOP updates, ensure accident, incidents and near misses are recorded. I attend quarterly meetings within our company, in which I present on our site’s latest accident and incident trends. Recently, I have delivered a presentation on Lifeguard Zone Visibility tests and the financial impacts that this would have on our business. I have also led on the company transferring their Risk Assessments onto a new system, completing a further presentation on how the new system works and the process of transformation. I have designed a new shift rota for each department whilst working towards budgeted targets, allowing operations to run smoother and reducing the wage salary on casual staffing. In addition to this I worked on a new class timetable making sure that classes in different locations did not clash with the pool events with the target of staff being able to cope with the changeovers. When our administrator is off work, I am the lead for our sites Block bookers, chasing debt and liaising with the customers. During my time in leisure, I have developed strong communication and organisational skills by managing my team of Leisure attendants, receptionists, gym staff and class instructors on shift. As an assertive learner I grasp new systems very quickly. I am very proficient in Go Learn, Human Force, E Focus, Gladstone 360, Gladstone Plus 2, STICHH Health and Safety platform, Excel, Word and Publisher.
