      My time at SNA as a student engineer entailed working alongside draughtsmen where I made use of AutoCAD to complete engineering drawings. I accompanied engineers on various site inspections and meetings with the client. Thereafter I was exposed to the structural design of a steel pedestrian bridge. Other experience gained also involved administrative tasks.

Typical activities involved material strength testing, concrete durability index testing and analysis of the physical and chemical properties of fine and coarse aggregates for use in concrete.

Employed as a Works Engineer responsible for the supervision of the construction of 700 mm and 900 mm diameter welded steel water transmission pipelines.
