Pacific Avionics established itself as the leading supplier in the world for avionics interface test components and software for PC’s. Significant supplier to Boeing and most Avionics OEMs for 777 and other avionics programs. Sold company to Teledyne Controls in 1993.

      Employed by Teledyne as V.P. GM of Pacific Avionics as a SBU of Teledyne Controls. Implemented the corporate strategy of applying Pacific Avionics core competencies to the establishment of a new Business and Commuter Avionics group within Teledyne Controls, while continuing to meet sales objectives of Pacific Avionics core products.

      Acquired remaining Pacific Avionics test equipment assets from Teledyne Controls in 1997, and formed Pentar Avionics. Grew the test equipment business from minimal to approx. $4-5 million per year by 2000. Concurrently started product development on airborne data communications products for flight decks and cabins of aircraft.

      Pentar Avionics was acquired by NAT Seattle (a division of Cobham) in March 2004, and I was appointed President of NAT Seattle. Successfully integrated Pentar products into NAT Seattle operations. Led the development and certification of several complex high-performance airborne computing platforms for Boeing, Airbus and others.

      Established PAC Avionics to support my activities as an industry consultant. Developed several custom avionics auto-test systems consisting of electronics, software and mechanical design for Avionics companies. Also developed low cost aircraft file server that is in service today.
