  I am a volunteer teacher in the Vietnamese school at my church every Sunday for the fifth-grade class. I have helped my community become a better place to live through my service as a teacher. I use all my skills and knowledge from my education to teach my students at church. I also serve the broader Vietnamese community by helping our children remain connected to and be proud of our Vietnamese culture. With my help, Vietnamese children born in the United States will maintain the voice of their culture in this country. Though I have sacrificed my Sundays, my efforts will keep our native customs and habits strong. Show less
