Being able to share my knowledge and contribute to the wellness of mankind and mother earth makes my heart sing! I am truly living my dharma by offering steps that are easy to understand and implement and that put all those I work with on a path to a better future.   As CDPO, I helped to ensure ECP’s continued success. By creating a sustainable and diverse funding portfolio and by forming strategic partnerships, I paved the way for growth and increased impact. I also assisted with the growth and development of the ECP team in daily operations.In addition to serving ECP in my CDPO role, I also served as a member of our ARDI (Anti-racism, Diversity and Inclusion) Committee with the mission of cultivating an anti-racist and inclusive work environment: thinking critically about our own standards, policies, and practices, making choices that rely on and celebrate a diversity of perspectives, and maintaining an active role in creating a just and equitable work culture for all staff.As part of my role, I also had the opportunity to share our programs, research and food system knowledge with the world through speaking engagements and the written word. I have had the honor of speaking at the 2022 Food Innovation and Investment Show in San Fransisco, the 2022 Plant Based World Expo in New York, the 2023 and 2024 Future of Protein Production Summit, the 2023 Massachusetts Council On Aging Fall Conference and the 2024 Green Schools Conference. I also had the honor of presenting our Living Lab research findings by discussing Food Literacy as a Path Towards Sustainability at the 2023 Fifteenth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts & Responses in Vancouver. In addition, I have published a series of articles with Plant Based World Pulse discussing the many impacts of our food system on human and planetary health and how food service professionals can assist their customers in making healthful and sustainable food choices. I have contributed to an article discussing how to best attract and maintain top talent in the alternative protein sector for the publication Protein Production Technology International. Finally, I have also been published in International Teacher Magazine, TEACH Magazine and Educator Magazine UK. Our vision is a world in which all community members are equipped with the knowledge of how their individual food choices impact health and environmental issues worldwide, leading to improved personal and planetary health.As the Development Director, I worked to bring like-minded people together with philanthropic opportunities that supported the expansion of ECP's program initiatives and the continued education of a better informed next generation of young people.
