  In my role as the HOD Political Science I am assigned the overall management of departmental related matters within the institution. These include, ensuring effective planning and lesson delivery by faculties. Coordination of all activities related to the concerned department in coordination with Dean and Registrar, and finally accomplishing any administrative responsibilities assigned by the Dean and Vice Chancellor office. Achievements 1. Directed and managed a full accreditation of the department conducted by the National University Commission (NUC). These included physical verification of academic and non- academic staffs, teaching methods and strategies, review of all relevant documents of the department; exam questions, lecture notes, student results, course report, staffs and students profile. 2. Led and coordinated a comprehensive program review and curriculum update of Bsc International relations based on the National University Commission(NUC) Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS). These included alignment of all courses under the program of international relations with the standard of CCMAS. Development of new courses relevant to the study of international relations by benchmarking with top universities across the world. 3. Facilitated a Staff development program for Skyline Universities Staff on Professionalism in the Work to improve the quality of professionalism and efficiency in the institution. 4 . Facilitated seminar talk on titled ‘An inclusive approach towards feminism and Women empowerment in 21st century’ in collaboration the Women Initiative Wing Skyline University Nigeria.5 .Organized the first ambassadorial talk for political science department through the guest lecture series in collaboration with Nigerian Embassy in Turkey by inviting the Nigerian ambassador to Turkey to be a guest speaker for International Relations students. I taught over eight international relations courses: Introduction to International Relations, Contemporary Strategic Studies, Post-Cold War International Politics, Asia in World Politics, and Contemporary International System, with 93% positive feedback from students and management assessment.2. Developed over 15 course syllabuses (course definitive documents) and lecturing materials for courses assigned.3. Conducted and facilitated several workshop programs for staff of Skyline University Nigeria, the Association of Private School Owners of Nigeria (ASPON), and the Ministry of Education, Kano, on Conflict Management in the Workplace.4. Facilitated five changing gear workshops, a community service program on educating secondary school students on various matters such as leadership, peace and conflict, carrier, and education in collaboration with the department of academic support services.
