      Supervise the development and implementation of exercise goals, prescriptions, and protocols, assisting in planning, administration, and evaluation of the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Accomplishments included: Assisted in admission and initial patient evaluation to perform comprehensive patient assessments for rehabilitation activities.  Provided inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation activity sessions, measuring, collecting and recording accurate patient data. Served as a unit clinician, educator, consultant, and researcher when participating in programs to educate the community, hospital staff and patients. Prepared and adjusted individual exercise prescriptions on a regular basis in accordance with GXT, physician recommendations, patient conditions, and individual symptoms.Provided in-depth continuum of care for cardiac patients while ensuring thigh quality, cost effective service throughout the cardiology product line. Perform daily assessment of the physical, psycosocial, cultural, and religious factors affecting patient needs. Accomplishments included: Initiated and managed the first Cardiac Surgery Program to promote “best practices” methods and patient satisfaction. Offered both immediate support and on-call service for patients and family members. Developed and implemented patient care orientation and staff education programs. Authored “Our Lady of the Lake Cardiac Surgery Education Booklet” for use by all cardiac surgery patients.       Responsible for recruitment efforts, student admissions, and enrollment management programs of the college. Focused on serving the educational and developmental needs of non-traditional prospective college students, including incarcerated students participating in the Second Chance Prison Pell Experiment Program. Accomplishments include:• Consulted with key stakeholders and the College President to set the strategic vision for the College’s Second Chance Prison Pell Program.• Developed a partnership with on-campus Educational Opportunity Center to increase student enrollment.• Currently serving as Criminal Justice Reform Re-entry Taskforce member, charged with assisting formerly incarcerated individuals with beginning or continuing a post-secondary education upon release.• Initiated and implemented the “Underserved-Underrated” Campaign – college recruitment and informational sessions presented to underrepresented and underserved populations in non-traditional settings.• Assisted faculty and administration in securing necessary resources and developing strategic goals regarding the recruitment and enrollment efforts for the Second Chance Prison Program. Successfully recruited over 100 students resulting in over 40 actively enrolled incarcerated students.• Periodic presentations to the College’s Board of Trustees regarding new and innovative enrollment and recruitment projects.
