      • Improved the English education program of Chibati Public School in Chiabi Village, Lanchxuti, a small economically vulnerable village in west Georgia.• Collaborated with two counterpart teachers to deliver English lessons through the introduction of new methodologies based upon student-centered teaching techniques. Focused on the transfer of professional and organizational skills to community leaders through pedagogical training, project planning, and professional development workshops.• Authored, developed, and managed a $312 grant from Ozurgeti Youth Center together with a Georgian counterpart to create a green house in order to develop student literacy in agricultural and basic business and fundraising skills. As a result, 274 students and 1 teachers increased their project management & design abilities, salesmanship, teamwork skills, and overall sense of responsibility.• Managed a Peace Corps funded Teacher training with a total budget of $1624, resulting in 23 teachers from 16 schools increasing their professional skills in lesson planning, use of limited resources, classroom management, student motivation, and their ability to conduct and facilitate out-of-school activities. • Developed an IREX grant of $1,803 together with another an Peace Corps volunteer and Georgian counterpart in order to hold a two-day professional development training for local English teachers. As a result, 37 teachers from 19 schools increased their technical abilities in classroom management, differentiated instruction, technology driven teaching, lesson planning, and multi-level teaching techniques.• Directed six camps and after school activities —totaling 271 hours— throughout the Republic of Georgia with foci such as leadership, community development, integration, teamwork, fitness, and English education—resulting in the increased capacity of four organizations, 29 service providers, and 287 teenage students. Assisted to fulfilled the organization's needs based on a a formal needs assessments.• Assisted 12 under-privileged and poverty-riven youths to develop skills in math and English. Motivated and assisted drop-out students to continue their high school education. Taught illiterate school-students to read and write in their own native Georgian language. Conducted a series of activities related to gender equality, personal health & hygiene, HIV, non-violence, goal setting, and technology.• Organized and conducted 32 after school activities at Chibati Village Public School with 4 Georgian counterparts to strengthen and improve English language, intercultural, gender equality, personal health, environmental awareness, volunteerism, leadership, and goal-setting skills.
