      Conducted core logging and sampling as part of undergraduate thesis project while prospecting and conducting research for property assessments, working closely with the head of economic geology for Northern NB. Also conducted data entry, rock sample preparation and aerial photo interpretation.

      Supervised 20,000 ft diamond drill program in pursuit of increased iron ore reserves.       Co-designed drilling programs and various geochemical and geophysical surveys to be carried out on several claim groups throughout New Brunswick targeting base metals. Projects ranged from newly acquired to mid-stage exploration. Supervised exploration efforts (drilling, soils, and geophysics) and trained several junior geologists on logging core. Submitted regular progress reports to head office and co-authored several assessment reports for the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources. Logged 8000m of drill core from the Sisson Brook Mo-W-Cu project and 2000m of core from the MountPleasant Camp exploring base metal occurrences and deposits while assisting in supervision of drilling operations. Produced progress reports for management and assisted in assessment report writing.

      Supervised and assisted in the designing of exploration drill programs for Lake Superior type iron ore deposits in northern Quebec along the Labrador Trough with Watts, Griffis, McOuat Ltd for Cliffs Natural Resources. Also conducted field geology mapping and logged several drill holes while training junior geologists on logging core, field exploration techniques, and drill supervision.
