  I worked 30 days, 180 hours at South Devon Colleges Animal Unit, they have a variety of animals such as reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals. I would clean out their environment, sometimes changing their bedding. I would feed and give them water. I would clean up paths and take the rubbish to the skip.

  In school, doing my year 10 work experience, I worked at South Devon Aquatics Centre, where I helped to clean fish tanks and feed the fish. I would also help with additional tasks of record keeping.

  During this role I served customers using a till completing cash and card payments. I would stock the shelves and date check the products. I checked off deliveries when they came in and put them away rotating stock as I went. I worked on the delicatessen as well as on the shop floor.

  This was a seasonal role. I took food and drink orders from customers and put the orders in the till, I completed cash and card payment transactions. I made the drink orders and plated out desserts, I also delivered the food and drinks to the customers, checked on them. I restocked the drinks behind the bar, checking stock and rotating it, before cleaning up and setting tables for breakfast the next day and closing down at the end of the night.

I have targets that I achieve and work under direction as well as using my own initiative, achieving high standards. I am friendly, hardworking, and a professional person. I will assist the customers the best of my knowledge and ability, seeking help from my colleagues when necessary. I am also willing to learn new skills. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic when the coffee shop was able to open, I completed COVID-19 training and follow the COVID-19 guidance policies and procedures which were put in place ensuring safety for customers and staff.
