I oversee strategic development for the Alaska Blanket Exercise (ABE) program. ABE is an experiential history lesson that tells the story of Alaska Native people and land. This best practice exercise aims to foster truth, healing, and reconciliation between all Alaskans. ABE is offered in both virtual and in-person formats.ABE is integrated into onboarding procedures at ANTHC in an effort to support trauma informed services. In this role, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the ANTHC Leadership Excellence through Advancement and Determination (LEAD) program, where I wrote a business and sustainability plan for the exercise. ABE is a movement that uplifts Indigenous cultures through story, and now brings opportunity to generate revenue beyond grants. Show less
