  For my first rotation on the Barclays UK, Corporate and Barclaycard Graduate Scheme, I relocated to Glasgow to work for the West Scotland and Northern Ireland Private Banking team. This role included supporting some of the wealthiest clients across the region with their everyday banking, as well as leading Wealth initiatives . For example, I designed and created a New Joiner Portal for all new Wealth employees in Barclays, supported with a large client reorganisation project for Wealth clients and helped to introduce Barclays Scale Up event for high-growth companies in Scotland. Show less I spent a year working as a Performance Support Manager for the Performance Framework team. I led the project to redesign and build seven intranet sites to host performance management, performance measurement, business planning, reward, recognition and supportive materials for the different business areas in the Performance Framework. In addition, I have worked to support a risk assessment of Vital Signs (a system containing MI information), the launch of the Little Blue Book and to redesign the 121 guide for the different roles in Community Banking. Show less I was the Assistant Manager of the Medway Towns Hub of Barclays for 6 months whilst on the Barclays Degree Programme. This included the running of the Chatham, Rainham and Strood branches and managing 30 Essential and Moment Bankers. I worked on several projects including monitoring the Toolbox usage across the hub, designing a new annual review system for individuals on the Barclays Degree Programme and analysing the implementation of the Self-Service Account Opening iPads. In addition, I spent a large amount of my time with a specific Flexible Banking focus, researching and analysing how we could move the branches forward to keep up with the digital environment. Show less When on the Barclays Degree Programme, I was the Personal Banker in the Stratford Broadway branch and the representative of my university cohort. I spent 3 months over the summer working as a Personal Banker in the Westfield Shopping Centre branch. This was a fast paced environment with significantly different customer demographics to Broadway. I enjoyed the experience and worked on projects for the area back in Stratford Broadway including research into the changing payment industry and managing morale at an area level. Show less
