  My work as a ski instructor provided a great opportunity to combine my lifelong passion for skiing with a job that provided an opportunity to further my skills. I taught people of all ages, ethnicities, and physical capabilities. As an instructor, no two days were the same. I faced challenges such as language barriers and working with mental or physically disabled people. These challenges forced me to adapt to the different ways in which people learned and has since become an invaluable skill in my everyday life. On top of this, I further built upon skills relating to teamwork, communication, and learned to thrive in a chaotic and fast passed environment. Show less
