      An experiential learning course, Blacks in Diaspora: Cuba, that consisted of research experience with a travel abroad in Havana and Santiago, Cuba. My research was on Afro-Cuban lesbians and social spaces they inhabit. My research was presented at a poster board session at Swarthmore College.

An additional responsibility was running a pop-up museum on African American history in Chester, PA, filing/archiving important documents and artifacts, as well as maintaining the museums building.

Advisers are also assigned cultural centers to match with in order to encourage campus wide coalition with the diversity peer advisers programming.

      Research Training

      Summer Research Training which consisted of two courses at the University of Chicago in theoretical writing and theoretical connections to social change. The culminating experience consisted of a presentation of my independent research proposal of about 25 pages and a presentation at the programs annual research symposium.
