  After reaching out to Curro Vanderbijlpark in 2022 to conceptualise an internal newsletter for a school assessment, we were fortunately given the chance to be an actual part of their team. Through this partnership, a new name (Curro-osity) and design for their newsletter was inspired. During my time fulfilling this role, I had the opportunity to practice and hone my skills in▪️Team-collaboration,▪️Photography (and editing), ▪️Research and, ▪️Writing.Main challenges:▪️Writing for younger audiences ▪️Researching subject matter that would relate to younger audience ▪️Creating an interactive and engaging newsletter Show less This is a role I took on to determine whether after graduating, I would be inclined to pursue work in my field of study or in education (a passion and interest I have held for a long time) From this experience, I learned the following:▪️First and foremost, teachers and caregivers should be honoured and respected more in our society.▪️The role of taking care of another person's child is a sincere and heavy responsibility.▪️One always needs to be alert and proactive in preventing potentially harmful situations from occurring.
