I thoroughly enjoyed this job as it also helped me to gain experience within the retail and charity sector. I was then made redundant due to the pandemic in 2020.

      After working to support events for prospective students for over a year I moved across to the Brand & Marketing team as an Events Executive, where I now work as part of the team managing the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of high profile events, including speaker series', international events, conferences, receptions and community events. I contribute to the development of well thought-through and creative solutions to stakeholder briefs and support on the project management and delivery of events. After each event I work with the stakeholders to analyse and evaluate the ROI and impact of the event. Since starting my role I have worked on Congregation for the class of 2023 and 2024 and various reunion events- Festival of Minds, R4NA and WAC. Show less For three months I took over this role as maternity cover where I lead on all of the operations, implementation and delivery of all events (in person, virtual and hybrid events). I was responsible for event communications, which involved updating the website, sending and creating invitations and follow ups, as well as creating LinkedIn squares for promotion. I ensured the smooth running of the sessions, ensuring a seamless and successful execution of the events. I produced and delivered a comprehensive and effective events and digital communications plan for 23/24, as well as evaluating the portfolio of events & digital communications sent out in 22/23. Show less After working at a local college for 10 months I moved across to LBS (a postgraduate University in London) to be an Events Coordinator (where my title then changed 3/4's of the way through to an Engagement Coordinator). As an Events Coordinator I was responsible for logistics and all aspects of setting up and executing online and in person events, from conception to delivery to follow up and for recruitment & admissions and external stakeholder support. This included using CRM and Zoom to set up my events. I coordinated the liaison with speakers and venues, as well as setting up technical run throughs and creating final briefings. I also managed a Mediasite project where I worked on repurposing the content from events onto a new hub for candidates to watch on demand and at a time that best suits them.When I transitioned to an Engagement Coordinator I was in charge of the Early Careers portfolio where I supported the operational delivery of the engagement plan, which included continuing my events specific role as well as also supporting with the digital communications. This included content composition, data segmentation, sending and creating mailings and updating the blog page. Show less
