Show less • Simultaneously handled 6 different Bulk Product operations as a Control Room In charge of the terminal: Tank Truck Loading, Rake Loading, Receipt from Jetty through Vessel Discharge, Receipt from Refinery, Product pumping to Other OMCs (Oil & Marketing Company) and Vessel Loading.• Pipeline Integrity Assessment of all the Pipelines from Refinery/Jetty to Terminal was carried out through various NDT methods like CIPL Survey, CAT Survey, DCVG Survey and LRUT Survey under my supervision in line with OISD Guideline 233, NACE RP-0502-2002 & ASME B31.4.• Was involved in Implementation and Revamping of TAS (Terminal Automation System), which involved Remote line up of all the valves from Tank to the Terminal Battery Limit for a particular operation and Automation of Rake Loading through Batch Controller.• Implemented Process Optimization by doing inline Ethanol blending with Low RON MS (Motor Spirit) during PLT receipt from Refinery. Which in turn saved approx. $1million for the FY. Show less 1) Led the Supply and Distribution team at HPCL Visakhapatnam., which happens to be the most versatile location in terms of various operations like: Vessel discharge/loading operations at Jetties, which saw a surge of 93.1% in discharge thruput of MS and 33.8% in discharge thruput of HSD in 2019-20 owing to planned shutdown of Visakha Refinery for modernization. Implemented QGA techniques while handling Non-Oxy & Undyed MS thru vessel discharge, which resulted in a saving of 19.88crores to the corporation. Rake loading operations to cater HPCL Depots in 5 states. Truck Loading operations to cater dealers and COMCOs from 4 districts of AP and 3 districts from Odisha. Evacuation of Visakha Refinery thru Pipeline transfer. Catering to OMCs like IOCL & BPCL thru Pipeline transfer. Handling of special products Mineral Turpentine Oil and HP Super Solvent thru Pipeline transfer. And further catering the same to various direct sales customer with significant profit margin.2) Spearheaded the TQM Project UTKRISHT, ensuring efficient Tank truck loading. Achieved significant improvement in Tank truck cycle time from 45 min to 36 mins in 6 months, saving 25 lakhs annually.3) HPCL representative for business stakeholders such as dealers and transporters. Managed Tank truck crew, and contractors, providing timely operational safety training. 4) Responsible for roll out of Electro-Mechanical Locking system, first security system in Oil and Gas industry, at HPCL Visakhapatnam replacing traditional security locks.
