      Selected to lead a consolidation of three internal organizations to one. Led resulting Operations function responsible for controlling daily producer compensation amounting to over $350M in annual payroll processing.  Created and led a program management office (PMO) responsible for the consolidation of three field compensation systems. Took accountability for all phases of project planning, execution, risk management, metrics reporting, budgeting, and staffing. Implemented structure and control in a function that had been merged from three organizations to one.  Established work unit objectives as Producer Compensation process owner, driving change to ensure business group strategies were met. Managed local and virtual staffs of up to 150 FTEs, controlled annual work unit budget of $10M and technology budget of $8M.  Annually led Demand Management process to budget and schedule all new strategic compensation and bonus programs for Agency and Brokerage distribution channels.  Reengineered the process for risk management and control for the execution of the compensation systems, achieving a 75% efficiency gain. Developed multiple business cases, e.g., Licensing & Appointment redesign project that had a two-year payback and annual savings to the company of over $1M per year. Developed business continuation strategies, including specific pandemic plans. Implemented work strategies that prepared the unit for any business continuation event. Successfully implemented technology to automate business rules previously viewed as too complex to automate. Managed staff of policyowner tax experts to administer the tax rules and support the field force and create differentiated service.  Developed a "Blueprint for Success", which outlined all key objectives and deliverables, risk management plans, resource plans, and delivery timelines for functions within the initiative.  Selected by Senior Executive to create and manage the unit needed to maintain the new Policyowner Tax System.
