  Senior IT Porfolio Manager for the Finance Reimagined (FIRE) initiative managing corporate finacial data. FIRE aims to democratize finance data to make it simpler for users to access it using various BI and digitized tools (i.e. Power BI, KNIME). Our aim is to increase the data analytics capability of users by bringing together all relevant finance data into the company's core data lake and bringing forth advantages in both performance and security through the use of Azure cloud services.My responsibilities involve leading the data profiling and solution architecture for corporate finance data, and overseeing the ingestion of data into the data lake up to the delivery of the BI solution for the business in an Agile environment. My task involves day to day coordination with our Finance business teams, data architects, data engineers, and BI developers. Show less Led the management of the operation and relationship of the global third-business partner for P&G P2P under IMEA region and oversees troubleshooting of invoices to ensure on-time and accurate payments to customers.Initiated and delivered various process improvements such as standardization and optimization of the scanning to posting processes leading to reduction of problematic invoices, elimination of invalid overdues, implementation of DXC incident management, and multiple tax posting process improvements such as revamping the tax coding process for Pakistan for a simpler and more efficient process.Led the restructuring of the Governance team and Central Operations to create a more seamless process flow and efficient management. Oversees HP processes from invoice receipt to posting, in addition to managing P&G Call Center and Vendor Master Data.Led the migration of the Europe Governance process to Manila ensuring continuous operations and without negative impact. This resulted to plenty of standardization and process improvements for both Asia/IMEA and EU Governance such as payment blocks treatment, baseline date usage, and posting controls. Led the optimization and automation of the verifications process for the team in conjuction with the banking operations leading to FTE savings and stronger controls.Overhauled the high-value payments verifications process reducing defective payments amounting to more than 100M USD.Improved multiple payment request forms and processes such as for downpayments non-invoice payments and one time payment for a more simplified and compliant submission.
