      As a Partner I had experience of dealing with clients on a day to day basis including Audit, management accounts, forecasts, business plans, raising finance, advice on management information systems, assisting recruitment of financial staff etc. Clients consisted of sole-traders, partnerships and large private family owned companies and covered a variety of professions and industries including furniture manufacturers, light engineering, insurance brokers, life and pensions companies, freight forwarders, garages, car hire firms, retailers, architects, builders and property companies.Also as a Partner, I was responsible for the office’s own accounts reporting both locally and nationally.       Initially led and managed the Xerox Technology Europe Internal Controls Team. Responsible for the Internal Controls process framework (ICMP) including developing, managing, planning, executing and reporting on all internal control and risk activities in order to provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls environment and risk management framework. Ensuring Xerox Europe meets the Corporate and Audit Committee internal controls requirements including timely and accurate reporting (SOX and issues). Leading the process to identify key risks and controls to be assessed and develop/execute the Xerox Europe ICMP inspection program. Role was expanded to include all of EMEA in January 2019. Show less Responsibilities included co-ordinating and managing the activities of the XF (Xerox Finance) Lease Accounting Team, UK/XF Treasury Operations Team and the XF Planning and Control Team. Also responsible for all XF reporting – group, management and statutory. Including Total P&L and Balance Sheet, responsible for the production of Product group/Sales Sector Leasing P&Ls for actual data including variance analysis and for the production of XF Plans and Outlooks, both at a Total XF level and at a Business Team/Sector level. Led the project to re-migrate the various leasing and treasury finance roles to the UK, including recruitment, training and logistics. The re-migration was successfully completed with the minimum of impact upon performance and controls and within 4 months. This also coincided with work undertaken to satisfy an SEC investigation which resulted in 5 years of world-wide accounts being adjusted and re-audited. During this time, was responsible for the UK leasing element of the project which resulted in a successful conclusion. Also involved with satisfying Xerox ‘Funding’ requirements which included the relationship and contractual requirements with a 3rd party funder providing up to £400M.
