  • Design pipeline bridge crossings and pipe supports – evaluate stress on pipeline and pipe supports• Evaluate stress on gas piping due to various loading conditions – surcharge, wheel, and railroad loading• Develop, maintain, and interpret pipeline design gas standards including providing support to project teams on code and company specifications interpretation • Review transmission piping designs, pressure testing plans, and Design Datasheets (DDS) to ensure company specifications, code compliance, and integrity management requirements are met • Miscellaneous engineering support – Coordinate the prototype strength testing of pressure control fittings in order to qualify company shop modification for bottom outlet connection of in service pressure control fittings and over $500,000 of company inventory fittings • Project engineering for storage and transmission projects – Lead on integrity assessment for Newberry Springs Compressor Station suction/discharge piping to address California Public Utilities Commission’s audit findings Show less
