In this project I'am in charge of the Backbone Sub-System that allows the communication between all devices.The main specification of the deployed networks are the following : - Medium size : About 100 network devices (L2 switches, L3 switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points)- About 200 hosts- Concept involved : Vlans, Redundancy (RSTP, VRRP), VPN, DHCP, Routing, Firewall rules, NTP, SNMP, ...- Interconnection of several system for several sub-contractors.- Critical performance (Jitter, Bandwidth prioritization, fast recovery,...) The extension includes the management of the Zevenaar station and allowed the freight trains to start in level 2 inside german area. The system includes also the management of the passenger train ICE 3 going from Germany to the Netherlands in level2 through the Zevenaar station.The system is composed of one Interlocking and 3 RBCs including peripherals.
