Built a metadata driven UI and also developed numerous cloud backend services which allows users to create a holistic, up-to-date map of their data landscape with automated data discovery, sensitive data classification, end-to-end data lineage and also empowers data consumers to find valuable, trustworthy data. Show less Lead Data Scientist for Bing Search and Apps - Bing Content Services (Microsoft News) User Segmentation And User Profiles : Developed a scalable User Segmentation service which is used byAnaheim (the new Edge) and Microsoft News Recommender Stack for targeting and serving users withpersonalized content, which increased the overall revenue and engagement metrics by ~15%. Data Platforms : Developed scalable real time and near real time data platforms (Data Lakes)and reporting pipelines from Microsoft News logs (which is one of the largest datasets in the world, with a daily volumeof 1.5 PB). Experimentation: Lead the data front of the initiative of onboarding Microsoft News Apps to the Exp platform (a firstfor Microsoft News) by building a near real time data stream. This enables the organization to conduct A/B experimentsand evaluate experience and take data driven ship decisions. User Behavior Prediction: Built an automated User Profile Pipeline for Microsoft News Users and developedserving layer which is consumed by ML pipelines and targeting services to target users with specific experiences. Audience Intelligence and Forecasting Platform: Developed scalable real-time Machine Learning backend using Azure Databricks and Azure ML Service that serves recommendations on the type of content from different content providers based on the past user engagement history of users in markets which helps in effective auto curation of content for Microsoft News. Build forecasting services that predicts users and user engagements across all markets for Microsoft News that is used for setting the monthly targets and global operations for Microsoft News.
