      Manager & Host

GlesGames is a local multiplayer video game event, based in Glasgow. Using both modern and retro gaming machines, GlesGames is able to provide an experience which is reminiscent how many people around my age grew up playing games and socialising with like-minded individuals.I set up events in establishments throughout Glasgow and have held events in locations such as Sloans Bar, Piper on the Square and Drygate. Having tripled the number of attendees, GlesGames is very much on the up and the event is gaining more recognition with each passing occasion. As well as satisfying hundreds of gaming fans, I have also struck relationships with gaming publishers and developers as we have received support from companies such as 2K Games, Capcom, GAME, Team Junkfish, Curve Studios, Nintendo UK and more.To spread the word of GlesGames, social media has been a huge reason for the event's continued success as a tremendous community has been created since GlesGames began and we have a dedicated number of people who spread the word and engage with myself often. As I look to expand GlesGames further, I have delved into producing YouTube videos for the event and attended gaming exhibitions to raise awareness for the event to both the general public and individuals within the gaming industry.
