The development was to create the next generation of Telecare devices to provide independence whilst managing risk. This is accomplished using a network of sensors in the home together with a monitoring centre to detect any incidents that may arise or alerts that may be raised by either the user or the sensors. The solution called for a cloud-based component and allows for the gathering of data from the client base to use for data analytics on either an individual basis or in aggregate.
