  I was entrusted to mobilize all existing resources to ensure effective lobbying with parliamentarians on Universal Salt Iodization bill (USI), sensitizing consumer groups from rural Islamabad on Iodine Deficiency Disorders, one to one meetings with large consumers of Salt to address their issues regarding availability of potassium iodate, sensitizing religious leaders on misconceptions regarding Iodized Salt Consumption and training health care professionals on their role in eliminating IDDs. Through our concerted efforts with the parliamentarians and religious leaders, we successfully tabled the USI Bill on the floor of Parliament. Show less

  My role was to ensure an effective networking channel with the Government enabling my team to get timely NOC’s for the water sampling of filtration plants. Campaigns’ foremost achievement was the successful quality testing of all water filtration plants installed in Rawalpindi & Islamabad by WASA and CDA respectively, along with a recommendation report on further improvements in drinking water quality. The project was included in USAID’s annual showcasing highlighted as one of the most successful projects of Small Grants & Ambassador’s Fund Program. Show less

  “Empowering Youth on Employment and Enterprise-EYEE” aimed at providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to the youth especially girls entering the job market. My responsibilities included coordination and management of local volunteers hired in Multan and Muzaffargarh to identify incubation centers and employment networks in their respective areas. Furthermore, networking with government and civil society organizations on a comprehensive youth policy also came under my domain.

In addition I have been entrusted with the task of public relations. All the media related activities such as press releases, press statements and media interactions are managed by me. Furthermore the office of publicity and marketing is responsible to publish paid advertisements in print and electronic media on behalf of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation.

  As Manager Projects, I currently manage a portfolio of PKR 300 million encompassing projects established under Government of Pakistan's Trade Policy Initiative 2003-04. My role is to manage and identify revenue streams, address programmatic challenges and maintain a liaison point between the Federal and Provincial Governments. 2 projects, Khuzdar and Loralai Collection Points that previously lacked operational SOP’s, have been made operational under my supervision. I am currently the focal person GRASP project, a € 65 million EU Funded Project aimed at augmenting horticulture produce of Pakistan to cater to the ever swelling demands. Show less
