      Asset Managemento Protection Control And Automation (Secondary) Design settings for Protection Relays, ACR’s (Automatic Circuit Reclosers), Gas Switches, Regulators and other protection and control equipment on the distribution network. Determine fusing requirements for protection and coordination purposes  Design settings for relays that protect SP-AusNet’s assets, including Feeders, Lines, Transformers, Capacitor Banks, and other critical assets at Distribution Substations and Transmission Substations. Investigate faults and issues on the network, and determine if protection devices have operated correctly. Design DFA (Distribution Feeder Automation) schemes that automatically reconfigure the distribution network to restore power safely to as many customers as possible. Consult with Commissioning Engineers to ensure correct application of all settings. Develop and update asset management strategies, standards and policies for Secondary Systems throughout SP-AusNet’s networks. Strategise on all Protection, Control and Automation equipment including Protection Relays and SCADA equipment in respect to maintenance and replacement.o Lines Develop and update asset management strategies and standards for Transmission and Distribution line design Asset inspections, maintenance, monitoring and replacement of Poles and Towers, Crossarms, Insulators, Lightning Arrestors, Conductors and Cables, Switches & Fuses, Public Lighting Investigate faults and issues on the network Provide technical support for field staffo Stations (Primary) Develop and update asset management strategies for station primary plant Asset inspections, maintenance, monitoring and replacement of Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Capacitors, Reactors, Regulators, NER’s, Static VAR Compensators Investigate faults and issues on the network Carry out and manage testing of assets Provide technical support for field staff Initiate CAPX and OPEX projects Show less
