Show less As the Deputy Director Of Human Resources at DFPS I assist the HR Director in managing the strategic operations and planning for the HR Division, I manage the daily operations of all HR support functions included in the Senior Business Partners Group (SBPG), and provide support to the Employee Relations Group (ERG), the Talent Acquisition Group (TAG), The Executive Support Group, and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Group. The SBPG, includes employment-related programs of the Veteran Liaison Program; Hiring and Due Diligence Unit; Classification and Organization Unit; Employment Records Unit; Workers Compensation Program; and Management Consulting Unit. As the Deputy Director I also manage HR legislative activities; HR policy and forms support; HHS-HRPS contractor coordination ; EEO coordination with internal stakeholders and external compliance agencies; HR communications and web content coordination; HR project management and tracking; the agency's ADR and management review program coordination; Payroll, Time. Labor, and Leave contractor coordination; HR legal and best practice research.The ERG is responsible for working with agency leadership and supervisors to enforce the DFPS HR Manual, Ethics Policy, and other related rules and regulations. This includes providing appropriate and consistent feedback related to managing the day to day operations 13,000 employees across all DFPS programs. As the Deputy Director I also provide related consultative services to executive leadership of the agency. The FMLA Group manages all FMLA activities and tracking for the agency's four major programs with the goal of allowing these program manages to focus on providing services to clients. The TAG manages the recruitment and hiring for all program direct delivery positions.The Executive Support group provides HR survives the the Agency's executive management, manages the HR data and reporting group, and manages the agency's wellness program.
