      The project is a construction of a new steel making plant located at Sadat city and this project consists of three melting furnaces which are working with electrical energy and work on melting sponge iron which is mainly reduced by the gases coming from natural gas and using MEDRIX technology and my duties in this project were as follow:- qualification of welding procedures for steel structure, pressure vessels and piping work.- performance qualification of welders.- planning and following work at workshop and site.- Following NDE of steel structure and piping works.       ERC refinery project: the scope of work included piping work, installation of static equipment, installation of boilers, installation of heaters, installation of coke furnace, coke drum and finally steel structures.My duties included leading QC team in Area-1 that include 3 main units of the project and supervision on all QC activities starting from welders qualification, welding procedures qualification, visual inspection on welded joints, Radiography on welded joints as per imposed percentages and follow up of repair percentages of welders, hydrostatic testing of test packs, and resolving of punch lists till final hand over.In addition to previous duties, I was working as a project welding engineer and responsible for welding consumables estimation, requesting the required consumables, calibration of welding machines and welding ovens and heaters in addition to welders and welding procedures qualification.
