The newly re-designed Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program includes “The Pitch 2019,” a four-day conference where students will use critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems. Selected scholars will be tasked with developing solutions to business, social, or educational problems… Show more TMCF’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Division seeks to sharpen the entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship skills and experience into the African-American community, with HBCUs as the central hubs. The newly re-designed Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program includes “The Pitch 2019,” a four-day conference where students will use critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems. Selected scholars will be tasked with developing solutions to business, social, or educational problems and then pitching their ideas to a panel of expert judges comprised of entrepreneurs, small business owners, executives, venture capitalists and other investors. On the final day, teams will pitch their ideas at the Pitch & Win Competition before an expert panel.
