  - Constructed a near real-time Optimal Estimation Method (OEM) analysis package for infrared spectrometer data supplied by the Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) aircraft and the satellite-borne Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI).- Created IDL-based procedures to autonomously perform atmospheric constituent calculations that are now relied upon to produce early indications of species and sites of interest during wildfire events.
