Design of an assembly capable of functioning as both a rear under-run and towbar for Trucks of GVWR greater than 7.5T. Involved in 3D CAD design, structural analysis, DFMEA and DFMA.Individual Project Title: Designing of Load Measuring systems with Strain Gauges. Design of a device capable of measuring weights between 50 and 500 kg. I determined the arrangement of the supports (strain gauge attachment) for increased accuracy. I was personally involved with research into methods of detecton for concept selection as well as considerations for installation and functioning of the device. Thesis Project: Heat Recovery for Power Generation - The Nano Membrane Toilet Project case study. Design, build and test of a mini Tesla turbine prototype to fit and provide power generation. Analysis and calculations to determine optimal working conditions for testing and maximum performance. Economic faesibility of the design conducted from cost and output. Show less
