The importance of the Facade team awarded with being one of the largest stainless steel cladding building in the world.   A site situated in Makkah, introduced as an expansion project which consists of hotel towers for Hajj and Umrah visitors. The site consists of 4 Hotel towers with a 11 level Podium (with both Commercial and private Residences), Hotel Towers are designed with 24 floors each (2 towers for Westin & 2 for Sheraton) and is built on a land with approx 12.000m2 giving it a total of 106,700m2 built-up area. Responsibilities were given as follows:- Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports and submission to planning department to then be introduced into the IPC’s- Supervision of Site Work and coordination between different departments- Preparing and discussing new RFI’s (Request for Information) and submitting them to Consultant (Dar Al Riyadh)- Evaluation and implementation of technical details to be executed on site- Coordination of sub-contractors and site supervisors between the main-contractors departments.- Contractor representative for client meetings, preparation of slideshows for progress meetings held between client, consultant, contractor’s and senior management alongside Involvement in progress meetings, technical meetings and coordination meetings.- Contractor representative for HSE walkthrough and weekly HSE meetings.- Oversee site works including Flooring, Wall, Ceiling, MEP and general construction.- Material and Budget analysis for remaining works.- Reporting to Finishing Works Manager and preparing Time schedules and action plans for remaining works.
