  In 2006 and 2007, I worked with local Boys & Girls Club affiliates on development, planning and implementation of their annual campaign focused solely on individual giving. This work occurred with Clubs throughout the 13 state area that Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) refers to as the Midwest Region (e.g. North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia).Starting in 2008, BGCA received a 3-year grant from the Lilly Endowment to help Boys & Girls Club corporations in Indiana grow organizational capacity in the areas of Resource Development and Board Development. While in the same position, the job changed in the sense that my responsibilities broadened. In addition to helping Indiana Clubs with developing/implementing an annual campaign, I helped as an internal consultant with the following: strategic planning, board development planning, marketing planning, resource development planning. From a job functions perspective, I am a consultant, facilitator and trainer rolled into one.In addition to my work with local Boys & Girls Clubs, I've played a role with conference planning, managing an exhibitors/vendors program, and even co-chaired BGCA's 2009 & 2010 national Employee Campaign.
