I focused on financial and strategic planning with extensive modeling and valuation work. A key achievement was developing modeling for foreign exchange sensitivity on route planning and evaluating strategic fleet routes.

Previously VF-NZ was owned by the Vodafone Group with equity interests in 27 countries over five continents, and partner networks in a further 31 countries. VF-NZ provides a range of mobile and fixed telecommunication services.With four direct reports, I am responsible for the Terminals P&L and ensuring the device supply chain supporting our retail and digital channels functions efficiently and effectively, balancing lean inventories with strong availability. I am the primary relationship manager accountable for providing strategic direction and financial management of all Terminal's outsourced partners. This involves being the key touchpoint between the Terminals, segment marketing, channel, GTM, network, commercial and product teams and finance. I also provide forward and reverse logistics support for 80 direct and partner stores, online channel, 300+ multi-retailer stores and 1000+ food/oil/convenience.A key achievement in this role was implementing a successful COVID-19 response strategy which ensured that our inventory stayed within financial forecasts and that all SLOB lines were cleared without any impact on margin. I also negotiated a major 3PL logistics contract by using my excellent negotiating and influencing skills to lead an RFP and select the vendor which best met our needs. This appointment delivered cost efficiencies, future-ready logistics platforms and identified new opportunities for Vodafone.As well as this, I have introduced machine learning demand and supply tools which have delivered lean inventory whilst maintaining availability and optimising warehouse and retail inventory holding. A further highlight was working with vendors to develop new 4G and 5G handset ranges and migrate the portfolio from 2G, 3G and 4G handsets. This established Vodafone as a leader and innovator in the sector. Show less With a team of five direct reports, I provided financial support for the Sales function (270 FTE) encompassing forecasting, acquisition and retention investment, equipment and operating expenditure, commercial bids modeling and review, and customer activity reporting and financial planning. I also worked as the Finance business partner for the Sales Leadership Team to deliver on financial and non-financial targets.Some highlights in this role were moving from a margin-based to a unit cost model with our warehouse and distribution partner for mobile devices and providing finance support for business cases, purchase and integration of First Mobile into Vodafone’s retail channel. I also successfully integrated AT Kearney best practice findings into our sales operating model to increase momentum and integrated fixed line reporting (post the acquisition of iHug) and online reporting into the Sales function. I also designed and implemented Group MIS strategy and design for VF NZ and acted as single point of contact to ensure changes in group reporting were implemented smoothly.Key achievements in this role included designing and delivering Red Book (the monthly executive reporting pack) which was held up as best in class in Vodafone Group and developing & implementing an innovative interconnect reporting solution from SETTLER (interconnect system).
