      Led a department of 120 Officers and enlisted technicians charged with maintaining and providing flight-ready mechanical and electronic mine hunting equipment to a rapid deployment helicopter squadron, while simultaneously supporting a detachment on the Korean peninsula. Managed personnel and manpower for 12 diverse occupation groups, supporting five weapon systems, six Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), and 63 pieces of Material Handling Equipment, valued at $79M. Amassed over 1500 hours of safe Tow and watercraft operations, leading the way in the community. Coordinated and managed the mine hunting proof of concept trial for the Military Sealift Command’s Afloat Forward Staging Base (AFSB) prior to its deployment to the Fifth Fleet. Planned and coordinated all logistics to facilitate operational readiness at every level. Division supported an Air Wing’s highly successful 97 percent sortie completion rate during a global combat deployment. Viewed as subject matter expert by superiors, peers and subordinates on aircraft and test bench maintenance issues. Plan and coordinated the ship-wide off load of all aviation support equipment with, NAVAIR, COMNAVAIRFOR, and contractor personnel to coincide with the return from deployment, prior to aircraft carrier Refueling Complex Overhaul. Administered the establishment of warehouse facilities, directed inventory management and organized the refurbishment and overhaul of 20,987 items aviation support equipment, valued in excess $177M.
