      On August 5, 2013 the Hudson Fire and Building Departments joined forces in order to provide the citizens, contractors and businesses of Hudson with one location for all of their building and permitting needs. This division is located in Hudson Town Hall at 12 School Street and can be reached by calling (603) 886-6005. The Inspectional Services Division is responsible for regulating the construction, demolition, occupancy and safety of all buildings and structures within the Town of Hudson. This division will review, approve and issue the permits required by code for the repair, alteration, addition and new construction of all residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The Inspectional Services Division is dedicated to consistently protecting the citizens of Hudson by providing structural and life safety through the enforcement of building codes and standards. On August 12, 2014 Zoning and Code Enforcement were moved to the Inspectional Services Division. They administer, interpret and uphold all regulations set forth in the Zoning Ordinances and provide staff assistance to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Residents are encouraged to comply with local land use codes which in turn will compliment our code enforcement efforts.The Inspectional Services Division works jointly with the Planning and Engineering Divisions to ensure a timely response to all applications.
