      Executive Summary:I served as a Product Engineer, where I coordinate the transfer of new products from R&D to Production, and their regulatory qualification by external test houses., I also evaluated electronic components and peripherals from prospective new suppliers.Industry: Manufacturing / Local Area Network products.Achievements:1. Introduction and implementation of CE mark testing/certification on LAN products, in order to penetrate European markets2. Successful introduction of a technique for ‘in-house’ pre-qualification on LAN products, using ‘close field’ electromagnetic measurement probes. Reduces overall cost on EMC qualification of LAN products by identifying prototypes that will highly likely fail the actual tests.3. Completed implementation of the code generator for a tactical picture development tool2. Successful evaluation of a new tactical graphics engine system from Barco Chromatics, for the Unix systems in the navy ships, leading to the company issuing purchase order to replace the old graphics engine3. Completed the design and development of the ‘bridging software’ (a real-time, re-configurable data routing software) for the standard interface computer (SIC) as part of a C3 system. The project was successfully tested and deployed on a class of Navy vessel.4.
