Show less The job involves indepth troubleshooting of almost all System Center Products like SCOM, SCSM, SCORH, SCVMM. A major part of the time is also spent on Cross Platform Monitoring in SCOM involving various flavours of UNIX but primarily LINUX. This requires a good understanding of the Linux Operating System. Needless to say I spent lot of time with Windows Operating System as well (Hyper-V, Networking, DNS, Active Directory). Also work on SQL typically debugging Stored Procedures, basic performance troubleshooting. As a part of troubleshooting use various tools like SQL Profiler, WireShark, WinDBG, ProcMon, Process Explorer etc. Additional skills is knowledge on building PowerBI reports for the team to track various KPIs of the team.Deliver weekly triages to Global Microsoft Team and training for new hires.Work in building new PowerShell scripts for the team and customer.
