      Selected to undertake the senior security advisor role for an L1 site of approximately 1000 acres and a population of 2500 people. My team maintained the security of the site on a day to day basis through the employment of 30 staff within a 24 hour rota system. This included the control of personnel entering the site for the 20 resident organisations, and contingency planning for the actions to be taken should a major incident or accident occur within the site.Planned and implemented additional security measures for frequent events, ensuring that the integrity of the L1 site was maintained. This involved liaison with local Police, councils and industry.I advised on visits including HRH Prince of Wales and corporate entertainment events such as 100K hours of Apache Flying and the ADS Annual Dinner and workshop days.       I am responsible for the safe delivery of all aviation activity at the home of the British Army’s Attack Helicopter's at Wattisham Airfield in Suffolk. To ensure that activities are maintained at a level that is ALARP and tolerable I am responsible for the conduct of thorough risk analysis of all of our processes (utilising Bow tie Xp) the implementation and management of an error reporting and management system, the conduct of thorough trend analysis, incident investigation, running safety meetings and the delivery of timely reports and presentations to senior management. I have additional responsibilities for contingency planning, business continuity and emergency support for aircraft accidents in the region. Show less
