      Sept 2018 - Jun 2022

Stepping up to lead the aerodynamics sub-team at Ryerson Formula Racing pushed me to excel in all aspects of running CFD studies on race cars. Focusing on simulation robustness and mesh improvement, my time in this role was filled with constant iterational improvements which was due to my eagerness to win, and my persistence when met with a challenge. Furthermore, leading a sub-team saw me improve my leadership, communication, and management skills in aiding to focus the team's effort and meet deadlines. Show less

      Jun 2020 - Oct 2021
      Junior Race Engineer

Stepping into the professional motorsports world for the first time, I developed race engineering tools to make more informed and reliable decisions. I also used logged data to create lap time simulation models of the Ferrari 488 GT3, Ferrari 458 GT2, and Ferrari 488 Challenge. Apart from working at at the shop and travelling to race weekends, I was also fortunate enough to attend wind tunnel testing of the Ferrari 488 Challenge.

      Oct 2021 - Sept 2022
      Junior Motorsports Engineer

Taking a step further into professional motorsports, I was able to join a team and aid in a IMSA GTD Pro championship, a 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona win, and lead our GT4 squad to a title in the FEL series. On the IMSA side, I was responsible for sensory monitoring and helping the lead engineer, strategist, and data engineer where possible. This included the performance of the Porsche 911 GT3R while it was on track, and between sessions. With data and video collected from pit stops, I wrote pit stop reports to track crew performance and ensure the crew performed consistently and reliably. On the GT4 side, I stepped up to be the lead engineer of the program where I would make setup decisions and coach the driver of the McLaren 570s GT4. This lead to multiple race wins over the season, and an in class title. Show less
