The work that I undertook included a self-reflective piece on my own teaching practice, as well as an Action Research project that taught me how to critically analyse practical data through academic rigour. This allowed me to develop a critical and reflective teaching practice. I think the course bridged the intellectual gap between my technical expertise and the pedagogical practices that I am exploring while acting as a teaching assistant in my current role and the course equipped me with practical strategies for classroom management, student engagement, and providing effective feedback. The focus on reflective practice encouraged me to continuously evaluate and improve my teaching methods. Show less
