      I lead and mentored 18 employees who worked in a wide range of work disciplines. All of whom were responsible for the daily operations, sustainment and support of the company. I developed and mentored 3 subordinate medics to provide emergency and routine medical care with and without direct medical supervision. Ensured that the engineer company was able to perform its mission in both the garrison and while in austere environments. Planned, prepared and presented training to my team and others on mission essential task that would be required to be performed under stressful conditions. Trained over 500 soldiers in emergency life saving techniques with a 99% pass rate. Provided realistic, combat lifesaving training for over 500 soldiers with a 99 percent. Conducted and prepared training designed to prepare soldiers for cold weather training. Coordinated with Corporate administration and company leadership to provide reports, status updates, presentations and other vital information imperative to mission success. Prior to a horizontal construction mission I trained equipment operators and the support team about the flora, fauna, insects and other hazards at the job site. I planned and coordinated with life flight crews, hospitals and other emergency medical assets in Arizona prior to every leaving New York. With this information I also built and Emergency Action Plan which contained all of this information in case of an accident. As a result of these preparations, our company received a very rare Safety Award from Joint Task Force North for zero safety related incidents. These preparations were latter adopted as a best practice and are now a requirement for all new construction projects.- Recognized by Joint Task Force North for mission preparedness and best practices resulting in the first mission in their history for a mission zero accidents.- Increased the company’s medical readiness and compliance to 100%, the highest in the district.
