My responsibilities were to identify potential full-time interns from within one of the country’s largest college units and connect those students with Northwestern Mutual’s award-winning program. In 2012 and 2013, I was named the #4 college unit director within the country. I began serving as field director in 2013, and was responsible for obtaining 10 full-time contracts and 19 intern contracts in that same year. In January of 2014, I received the opportunity to expand my directives - both personally and professionally - to Northwestern Mutual’s San Diego network. As District Director, I focused on both maintaining and growing my personal production as a financial advisor while cultivating innovative training development programs for new advisors. In my first year, productivity increased by 85%, and the San Diego practice was named #1 new client acquisition and #2 in premium production. The following year, the San Diego Network was #1 in new client acquisition, premium production and life insurance production in the entire Western Region. Show less I continued to further my impact in the Northwestern Mutual network by transitioning into a full-time financial representative following college graduation. In my first four years as a professional in the industry, I was able to lead our practice twice in the acquisition of new clients and am only the fourth individual within the Greater St. Louis network that has written Granum Lives each year during that time period. Additionally, I earned the distinction of qualifying member within the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a premiere association for financial professionals. In my role as a college financial representative intern, I worked one-on-one with clients to determine what Northwestern Mutual products and strategies would be the best fit for their unique objectives, and assisted each individual with implementing a comprehensive financial plan that would ensure long-term success.
