      As an intern of the Pension department, I was tasked with a variety of projects which pushed me to think critically and analytically. Throughout my 10 week internship, I gained a thorough understanding of the Pension department's processes, including the effective management of participants' pension and health insurance benefits. At the end of my internship, I had the privilege to learn the Fund's investment techniques for sustaining itself and continuing to provide strong pension and healthcare benefits to its participants now and into the future.At the Chicago Laborers Pension and Welfare Fund, I:- Developed a "loss of time" outline with Microsoft Excel for the Fund which facilitated data organization and consistency.- Collaborated with team members to find an effective solution to the company's storage problem.- Calculated future participants' estimated benefits packages through Microsoft Excel.
