      1 MANAGEMENT OF NEMA SECTION 24H PROCESSES2 ADMINISTER THE EIA FUNCTION AND COMPILE CD PERIODIC REPORTS2.1 Provide technical and administrative support in terms of the on-line application systems and processes.2.2 Ensure that all reporting requirements of the CD: IEA as and when needed is compiled and provided.3 PROVIDE STRATEGIC SUPPORT AND MANAGE IMPLEMENTATION MATTERS3.1 Ensure and facilitate Implementation Workshops held, chairing the meeting, following up on action items to see its fruition, circulating minutes and providing feedback to the chair of WG5.3.2 Assist and ensure effective co-ordination on the conceptualisation of the amendments to EIA Regulations.3.3. Coordinate engagements with competent authorities and provide technical assistance and support at implementation workshops and similar engagements.4. MANAGE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHAPTER 5 OF NEMA AND CO-ORDINATE EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS 4.1. Reviewing and ensuring responses are finalised for:- Non-project specific EIA queries.- NEMA EIA Applicability queries.- Non project specific EIA Ministerial referrals; and,- S24C3 agreements.4.2. Provide technical support services to internal and external stakeholders regarding the interpretation of relevant sections of Chapter 5 of NEMA, the associated EIA Regulations as well as all other instruments and/ or tools related to integrated environmental management (IEM).4.3. Provide guidance and assistance to officials dealing with queries and reviewing queries and draft responses routed for approval for technical and legal accuracy.5. INTERNAL CO-ORDINATION OF EIA PROCESSES AND TOOLS 5.1. Ensure and aid in the update of existing and development of: EIA internal and external templates and forms; Internal policies, SOP’s, and guidelines for the consistent implementation of the EIA Regulations, Instruments and Tools. 5.2.
