  Innovative leader of progressive EMS service located in the foothills of Western North Carolina. Responsible for leading over 60 highly credentialed paramedics and EMS professionals who respond to nearly 13,000 calls for service annually, providing cutting edge emergency care to the citizens and visitors of McDowell County. Responsible for the oversight and management of all ES divisions including EMS, Emergency Management, 911 Communications, and Community Paramedic Program. In 2013, our team developed the first rural Community Paramedic Program in North Carolina. Seasoned emergency manager with experiencing responding to multiple state and federally declared disasters including the Kilauea Volcano incident in Hawaii, Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, wildfires in Mora County New Mexico, Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers, as well as multiple hurricane deployments in NC.
