      Promoted to lead $38M division in the corporations highest growth market (3X faster than the national average). Achieved 16% advertising revenue increase, 22% profit increase and $15M corporate-wide non-labor cost savings during the parent company's exploration of strategic alternatives and looming acquisition. Promoted to lead the award-winning $19M division. Hired initially as Chief Financial Officer and promoted to Executive Vice-President and General Manager prior to President. As President delivered 12% increase in advertising revenue and the third highest advertising market share gain across the corporation (30+ business units), grew profit 33% and added nearly six margin points. Represented Knight Ridder and Knight Ridder Digital with their partners (Tribune Company and CareerBuilder) in its minority acquisition of CareerBuilder. Led all integration efforts of print and online employment advertising including brand-image building, marketing, product and pricing strategies leading to CareerBuilder's rise to the #1 job site in the United States. Recruited to lead the accounting and finance area for this $60m+ division of Knight Ridder the nations second largest publisher. Developed financial models and analysis for company re-organization including various aspects related to six labor unions.
